Computational and Informatics
Research Core
The Computational and Informatics Research Core is an integral scientific facility that serves the research and development of bioinformatics - one of the key research areas of SZBL.
-
High performance computer cluster
-
Health big data system
Two major components of this facility, the high performance computer cluster and the health big data system, work collaboratively to provide comprehensive computing resolutions for research spans theoretical chemistry, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer-aided drug design and so forth. The Core will integrate and leverage information technology and biotechnology to develop health data for clinical treatment, remote medical monitoring, chronic diseases management, public health surveillance and so on, facilitating the transfer of biotechnology to clinical application.
