主要集中于纳米材料,纳米生物技术,和与炎症相关的疾病缓解何治疗。包括:
1.针对肿瘤、肠道炎症、肺动脉高压、急性肝炎和骨组织炎症等疾病开发多功能的无机纳米材料;
2.无机纳米材料针对炎症疾病的辅佐免疫疗法;
3.无机纳米材料调控炎症微环境和重建免疫平衡在分子、细胞和组织层面的作用机理。
许志平博士是国际知名纳米生物医学专家,黏土纳米材料(水滑石,双层氢氧化物)可控合成的先驱者之一,并开发黏土纳米材料作为多功能纳米平台,有效递送药物、基因和蛋白疫苗,用于癌症,传染病和心血管病等的联合防治,以及农作物的基因递送和基于生物农药的植物保护。截至2024年10月,他发表文章和书本章节超过380篇,文章引用次数超过25000次,H因子86(Google Scholars)。与合作者一起荣获的各类研究基金总数超过3000万澳元。目前拥有国际授权的专利4项,其中一项专利已经授权给英国一家公司,进一步开发负载非甾体类消炎药的纳米制剂产品。另一项专利技术已授权一家国际农药上市公司,大规模开发基于粘土纳米颗粒的基因型农药(BioClay),特异性保护各种规模化农作物抵抗病虫害,增加产量,无任何生态副作用。
