Recently, the Early Career Board (ECB) of The Journal of Chemical Theory and Computing(JCTC) was established, and Dr. Lu Yangyi, a Shenzhen Bay Fellow of the Institute of Systems and Physical Biology of SZBL, was selected as a board member.
JCTC has long been the home for state-of-the-art articles in theory and computation, covering a spectrum of topics from electronic structure theory to classical simulation, also venturing into quantum computers and artificial intelligence for chemical theories. With its inaugural Early Career Board, the journal is not only celebrating its achievements but also setting the stage for the excellence of the future.
The initiation of the Early Career Board reflects JCTC’s commitment to scientific inclusivity, collaboration, and sustained excellence. By fostering a diverse community of researchers and providing a platform for emerging talent, JCTC aims to create a dynamic hub for the exchange of ideas for the advancement of the chemical sciences. With these goals in mind, we sought nominations from the scientific community and the editorial board for membership of the JCTC’s inaugural early career board.
